Condor is a high-throughput computing software framework for coarse-grained,
distributed, parallelization of computationally-intensive tasks.
In plain english, can be used to:
- scavenge "spare" CPU cycles from otherwise unused desktop machines;
- fill the gaps in traditional HPC clusters;
