Start the VNC server on remote system, as before.

Set up the SSH tunnel locally:

    local> ssh [-C] -L 5902:localhost:5902 -N -f simonh@server.umist.ac.uk

Start the VNC viewer locally:

    local> vncviewer -encoding tight 127.0.0.1:5902
