Solaris Patch Breaks SSHD X11 Forwarding
Recent patches on Solaris break SSHD's forwarding of X11 connections. Great. This is acknowledged by Sun, though their idea of a workaround — disable X11 forwarding — is a strange one. Thankfully there are more helpful people around. Therefore edit sshd_config for IPv4-only
# IPv4 only ListenAddress 0.0.0.0 # IPv4 & IPv6 #ListenAddress ::and start sshd with the IPv4 option, for example
/usr/lib/ssh/sshd -4 -p 2222and all is well.
