The Model

The code design is based on the following assumed model:

• each human-readable (ascii) accounting file (see Resources) is paged, that is, consists of a sequence of pages of the form:

• The sequence consists of a sequence of sub-sequences each of which represents an accounting summary of one or more pages. Such summaries include:
  • Users Summary
  • Command Summary
  • Last Login Dates/Times
  
  
• The first page of each sub-sequence includes column titles and also data totals; any further pages in the sub-sequence do not.
